As a mother of three children visiting friends and family in the UK and overseas, I have had plenty of experience of travelling with small children. Either the car was packed to the roof or we were trying to beg or borrow second hand cast-offs. Travelling by air was an exercise in trying to work out what we could fit into our baggage allowance.
